Man Charged With Felony DWI After Greenport Crash: Police
He hit a guardrail, police say.

GREENPORT, NY — A Southold man was arrested on New Year's Day in Greenport after he crashed into a guardrail while intoxicated, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the single-vehicle crash took place at 3:44 a.m. on Sound Road. Jonas Graseck, 49, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, previous conviction within 10 years, a felony, police said.
Graseck was arrested and transported to Southold police headquarters, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment; his vehicle was seized due to Graseck's prior DWI conviction, police said.
