Man Charged With Menacing Patron Of Riverhead Business: PD

He was found with a firearm, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A man was charged with menacing the patron of a Riverhead business Saturday night, police said.

Christopher Drew, 34, was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, at 11:45 p.m., a report came in about possible shots fired at the Craft'D restaurant and bar located on East Main Street.

When police arrived, witnesses said that no shooting had taken place, but that a man had menaced a customer and had just left, authorities said.

Officers were provided a description of the man and he was located nearby; a firearm was recovered, police said.

Drew was arrested and transported to Riverhead Police headquarters for processing, police said.
