Man Charged With Sexual Abuse At Hampton Bays Party: Police
He lured the teen, who was attending a party at the home where he lives, into the basement, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested and charged with sexual abuse after an incident at a recent house party, police said.
On Thursday, Benjamin Coleman, 29, of Hampton Bays, was arrested and charged with third-degree sexual abuse and forcible touching, both misdemeanors, Southampton Town Police said.
On Aug. 6, a 17-year-old boy attended a party at a house where Coleman resides, called police and said he was sexually assaulted, police said. Coleman lured the teen into a basement apartment and subjected him to sexual contact, without consent, police said.
