Man In Fedora Swiped More Than $2K In Merchandise From Home Depot: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — Authorities are on the lookout for a fedora-wearing thief, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole $2,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot, located at 1550 Old Country Road in Riverhead on June 4 at approximately 2:30 p.m., police said.
The man fled the store and may have driven away in a tan Nissan Pathfinder, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
