Man Nabbed for Stealing Cigarettes: Police
The man stole cigarettes valued at $452, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Patchogue man was busted after he was caught stealing cartons of cigarettes from a Wading River smoke shop, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, John Miller, 41, was arrested on Tuesday at 11 a.m. and charged with petty larceny after he stole several cartons of cigarettes worth $452 from the Wading River Smoke Shop located on Route 25A. He was arrested and held in the Suffolk County Correctional Facility, police said.
The arrest came after an investigation conducted by the Riverhead Police Department's COPE unit, as well as from tips received from Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, police said.
