Man Shot At Graduation Party: Police
BREAKING: A Riverhead graduation party erupted into violence, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A man was shot at a Riverhead graduation party Saturday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, a call came in at 11:55 p.m. from Peconic Bay Medical Center's emergency room about a victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim, Travaum Brumsey, 37, of Flanders was shot in the area of Hinda Boulevard in Riverhead, police said.

Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded; upon further investigation it was determined that the victim had been shot while attending a graduation party which took place on Fanning Boulevard in Riverhead, police said.
The victim was uncooperative and requested no police action, police said.

The culprit is facing a second degree assault charge, police said.
