Man Smashes Glass Door Of Riverhead Business, Swipes Tequila: Police

He's being held at the Suffolk County Correctional facility, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested and charged after he smashed the glass door of a business in Riverhead and stole a bottle of tequila, police said.

According to Riverhead Police, the ongoing investigation involved a burglary that took place at the Craft'd Restaurant and Bar on East Main Street on July 16 at 3:30 a.m. when someone smashed the front door with a brick and stole the liquor.

Tramaine Gonzalez, 42, was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree burglary; he was arraigned and is being held at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility, police said.
