
MANORVILLE, NY — The search is on for a man who stole a pocketbook in Manorville, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole the purse from a Manorville McDonald’s, located on County Road 111, on Nov. 12, in the afternoon, police said.
When the woman returned 20 minutes later, the pocketbook was gone, police said.

Surveillance footage within the store shows that the man took the pocketbook and then left the restaurant in the company of two young children and an adult female; they drove away in a white, four-door pick-up truck, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
