Man Threatened Employee, Stole BMW From Riverhead Car Dealership: PD
He threatened the employee, took a set of car keys for a BMW, and drove off, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A man was arrested after he threatened an employee and stole a BMW from a Riverhead car dealership Monday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, the incident took place at 4:28 p.m. at Peconic Bay Motors on Old Country Road.
An employee from Peconic Bay Motors reported that Taiquell Woodson, 33, entered the business and removed a set of keys for a 2015 BMW, police said.

Woodson then entered the vehicle and when he was approached by an employee who tried to stop him, he threatened the employee, police said.
Woodson then fled the location in the vehicle and was later located at a residence in Bay Shore by the Suffolk County Police Department; the vehicle was also located at the residence in Bay Shore, police said.

Woodson was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree robbery and one count of third-degree grand larceny, police said.
