Man Violates Order Of Protection Twice, Charged: Police

He was held on $1,000 bail, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A man who violated an order of protection — twice — was arrested recently, police said.

According to New York State Police, troopers at the Riverside barracks received a call that Delando Henderson, 21, had violated an order of protection when he entered into the home of the protected party, a direct violation of the stay away order of protection, but had left the residence.

On June 21, Henderson returned to the residence and again violated his order of protection, then was subsequently arrested on the warrant for second degree criminal contempt, police said.
