Masked Man Attempts To Rob Riverhead Store At Gunpoint: PD

RIVERHEAD, NY — A masked man tried to rob a Riverhead store at gunpoint Monday night, police said.

According to Riverhead Town police, an employee called 911 at about 7:10 p.m. from the International Connection store on Osborn Avenue when a Black man, dressed in black pants, a black jacket, and a black mask entered the store displaying a black handgun and demanding money.

While the employee was on the phone with police, the man left the store with no proceeds, police said.
