Men Robbed Gas Station Armed With Handguns: Cops

CALVERTON, NY — The search is on for two men after the armed robbery of a Calverton gas station in April, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the men who, armed with handguns, robbed an employee at Exxon, located on Edwards Avenue, on April 23 at 10:27 p.m., police said.

Both men, who were wearing gloves and masks, were around 6' tall with thin builds.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
