Men Stole Lawn Mowers From Target: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — Police need the public's help to find two men who stole lawn mowers from Target in Riverhead, authorities said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police detectives said the men stole three Cub Cadet riding lawn mowers/tractors from Home Depot, located at 1550 Old Country Road, on May 6 at approximately 2 a.m.

The men entered the property, cut a lock off a gate, loaded the equipment onto a dump truck, and fled the scene, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
