
JAMESPORT, NY — One driver suffered minor injuries in a two car crash in Jamesport on Thanksgiving eve, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the two-car crash, which took place at approximately 7 p.m., involved a wrong way driver who was headed east in the westbound lane of Route 25 in Jamesport, police said. Each car had one driver, police said.
Riverhead Police and emergency responders rushed to the scene and traffic was rerouted while cleanup commenced.
