Missing Girl Home Safe Was Found After Patch Article
Her family said after a Patch post was shared, someone spotted the teen, who is now home safely.
AQUEBOGUE, NY — A teen missing from Aquebogue is home safe.
According to Riverhead Town Police, Shayniah Reed, 16, was found unharmed after she went missing Friday night.
Family and friends turned to social media this weekend with an urgent plea, asking for help to find "Shay"; they said someone saw a story about the missing teen posted on Patch and spotted her in Hampton Bays.
