More Than $4,800 In Power Tools Stolen From Home Depot: Cops
The thefts were reported on five separate dates; one man was arrested and additional arrests are expected, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Bay Shore man was arrested after he was involved in the theft, among others, of more than $4,800 worth of power tools from Home Depot in Riverhead over a period of days, police said.
According to the Riverhead Police Department received, reports of thefts occurring at the Home Depot, located at 1550 Old Country Road, took place on Sept. 7, 8, 13, 24 and 25.
In each of the incidents, one or more individuals entered the store and removed assorted power tools and exited the store without paying; the total loss between the five dates was $4,874, police said.

Justin J. Cruz, 26, was arrested and charged with three counts of fourth degree grand larceny and two counts of petty larceny, police said.
He was processed, arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverhead, where he is being held pending future court dates, police said
