Motorcyclist Airlifted After Manorville Crash Saturday Afternoon: Police

Both the driver and motorcyclist were injured, police said.

A motorcyclist was airlifted and a driver was also injured after a crash in Manorville Saturday afternoon, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, seventh squad detectives are investigating a crash in Manorville that took place at 12:06 p.m. and involved a woman who was driving a 2002 Toyota westbound on Mill Road when her vehicle collided with a motorcycle traveling eastbound.

Officer Brian Koch from MED-CAT responded and accompanied the motorcyclist on a Suffolk County Police helicopter, police said.

Officer Koch applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, police said.

Both the driver and motorcyclist were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of injuries, police said.

The investigation is continuing and there were no arrests, police said.
