Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crashing Into Car

A motorcyclist was hospitalized was hospitalized after crashing into a car in Calverton on Tuesday night.

Michael Porter was driving a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Middle Country Road shortly before 9:30 p.m. and struck M. Medina-Zecena who was driving a Toyota westbound on the road as she attempted to turn into a residence, according to police.

Porter was transported by Suffolk County Aviation to Stony Brook University Hospital for serious but non life threatening injuries, police said.

Medina-Zecena did not sustain any injuries, according to police.

No criminal charges were filed as a result of this incident.
