Motorcyclist Injured After Crashing Into SUV
He was found on the road with injuries to his leg, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A motorcyclist was injured after he crashed into an SUV in Calverton, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, on Monday at 4:37 p.m., a call came in regarding a motorcycle crash with injuries on Grumman Blvd. The motorcycle struck the SUV, police said; the driver of the motorcycle was found in the roadway with injuries to his lower leg. He was flown to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County Police aviation for medical attention; the driver of the SUV had no injuries, police said.
