Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash With Tractor: Police
The crash took place in Calverton, police say.
CALVERTON, NY — A Pennsylvania motorcyclist was seriously injured in a Calverton crash Thursday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the crash took place at 5:05 p.m. on New York State Route 25 just west of Burman Boulevard when the motorcyclist, Scott Weston, 50, of Meshoppen, PA, who was heading east, struck the rear of a Freightliner tractor that was also eastbound.
Weston was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital by Wading River Fire Department Ambulance, police said.
