New Marshalls/HomeGoods Combo Store To Open In Riverhead

RIVERHEAD, NY — Now, shoppers can have double the fun as a new Marshalls and HomeGoods combo store opens in Riverhead.

Marshalls, one of the nation’s largest off-price retailers, and HomeGoods, the country’s only major off-price store dedicated to home fashions, will come together to create a new shopping destination, located in The Shops at Riverhead, at 1762 Old Country Road.

The store will open on Thursday, March 22 at 8 a.m.

At Marshalls, shoppers will find savings on "top-quality, on-trend fashion from the most sought-after designers and brand names in ladies’ fashion, shoes, accessories, men’s apparel, juniors, kids’ apparel and accessories, luggage, beauty and more," a release said.

And, the release added, "HomeGoods offers an exciting, ever-changing selection of high-quality home fashions at prices generally 20% to 60% below department and specialty store prices, on comparable merchandise, every day."

The combo store will feature separate entrances, two distinct store environments, a common pass-through and a single queue checkout aimed at more expeditious shopping.

The stores expect to hire local residents to fill approximately 120 full and part-time positions.

Grand opening hours for both locations are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; regular store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Marshalls and HomeGoods are divisions of The TJX Companies, Inc., a leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the United States and worldwide, the release said.
