New Orthopedic 'Superstore" Opens Doors In Riverhead

RIVERHEAD, NY — A new orthopedic healthcare partnership, PrecisionCare, celebrated its ribbon-cutting ceremony in Riverhead Wednesday.

The group, located at 715 Roanoke Ave., includes two Suffolk County orthopedic practices, Advanced Orthopedics and Orthopedic Associates of Long Island.

Riverhead Town Supervisor Yvette Aguiar and Councilman Bob Kern attended the event; Aguiar presented PrecisionCare with a certificate.

“Medical facilities like this present an invaluable convenience to residents, particularly to our senior residential population,” she said. “This location provides easy access to overall wellness and health of our residents, which makes our area attractive to those in need of medical care.”

With more than 50 physicians and physician assistants representing orthopedic specialties including hand/wrist, foot/ankle, shoulder, spine, hip, and knee, PrecisionCare practices provide orthopedic services which focus on comprehensive orthopedic care, surgical and non-surgical options, pain management, sports medicine, athletic training, podiatry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, concussion management, and imaging services, a release said.

Tracey Smith, executive director of advanced orthopedics, called PrecisionCare an “orthopedic superstore, based on scope of services, the specialized skillset of our orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians and physician assistants, coupled with physical therapy and occupational therapy resources in which injury and injury prevention is a focus.”

PrecisionCare’s practices also have offices in Commack, West Babylon, East Setauket, Stony Brook, Patchogue, Wading River, Riverhead, and Southampton.

PrecisionCare works with many Suffolk County school districts.
