New Student Progress Monitoring Programs Unveiled In Riverhead

"I am looking forward to an amazing school year, bolstering our school district by seeking out new programs that maximize student growth."

RIVERHEAD, NY — It was an enthusiastic first day of school last week for students in the Riverhead Central School District.

Within an hour of arrival, young learners were already busy at their desks. And the district was ready: To enhance educational experiences this school year, the district is working to roll out new programs and shape student progress monitoring systems, as well as create consistency and a set of best practices within each school and across the district, officials said.

“I am looking forward to an amazing school year and bolstering our school district by seeking out new programs that maximize student growth,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Aurelia Henriquez.
