Ages 10 – adult (under 10 must be accompanied by adult: This course meets the requirements of the Suffolk County Boat Operator Safety Certification and covers boat handling and operation, navigating the waterways, boating emergencies, personal watercraft, legal and safety requirements, and more. After completing the course, fill out and mail in the form provided by the instructor with a $10 check to NYS Parks to receive the safety certificate.
