Oheka Chronicles Author and Historian Frank Amoroso Culminates Winter Book Tour in Riverhead
"Behind Every Great Fortune," is an intriguing historical novel that revolves around the life and times of Otto Kahn (known as Monopoly man)

Long Island – On a second Long Island book tour from January 8-11, 2015, Frank Amoroso, Esq., will introduce his new historical novel, Behind Every Great Fortune™, to more Nassau and Suffolk readers. Sure to appeal to history buffs, the book is the first in a trilogy called The Oheka Chronicles™. The local venues for the author talks include the Garden City, Riverhead and Smithtown Public Libraries as well as Black & Blue Seafood Chophouse, which is hosting a “Lunch & Learn” program by the Huntington Historical Society.
The plot of the book revolves around Oheka Castle and the life and times of Otto Kahn, the man responsible for building this Long Island treasure in the early twentieth century. Kahn was immortalized as the icon with the top hat, monocle and white mustache in the Monopoly® game. Presidents, monarchs and celebrities sought his counsel and attended lavish parties at his Gold Coast estate. In the masterpiece, The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald probably based the character, Jay Gatsby, on the renowned Otto Kahn.
The Behind Every Great Fortune™ Book Tour kicks off Thursday, January 8, starting at noon with a “Lunch & Learn” program, one of a series of such programs offered by the Huntington Historical Society. In addition to learning about Otto Kahn and Oheka Castle from author and historian Frank Amoroso, participants will enjoy a three-course prix fixe lunch at Black & Blue Seafood Chophouse, 65 Wall Street, Huntington.
