Overdose Victim Saved With Narcan in Riverhead: Police
BREAKING: The patient was revived at John Wesley Village in Riverhead, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY — Narcan saved the life of an overdose victim in Riverhead Thursday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the save took place at 3 p.m. when police responded to an aided case at John Wesley Village on Middle Road.
Upon arrival, officers saw an unresponsive person "suffering from an apparent overdose, with labored breathing," police said.

Officers administered Narcan to the person who, moments later, became responsive and was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment, police said.
