Passenger In Car Caught With Heroin After Traffic Stop: Cops
He also had a hypodermic needle, police say.

RIVERSIDE, NY — A passenger in a vehicle was found with heroin after a traffic stop, police said.
The incident took place on June 27 at 2:50 p.m. when Sarah P. McPhilips, 33, of Farmingville, was stopped for moving from lane unsafely on Nugent Drive westbound north of the circle in Riverside, police said.
Upon further investigation, McPhilips was found to have a suspended license and was found to be in possession of marijuana, police said. McPhilips was charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

A passenger in the vehicle, Gerald G. Nagengast, was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle and heroin; he was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
