Police: 14-Year-Old Punched, Robbed at Riverhead Park
The teen was hospitalized after incident on Friday evening, police say.

A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was punched in the face by a male who stole his money in Riverhead on Friday evening, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Police responded to Peconic Bay Medical Center on a report of a robbery victim being treated at the hospital at 4:38 p.m.
The 14-year-old told police that while at the park located at the end of North Oakland Drive, a male subject punched him in the face and stole $70 in cash from him before fleeing the area, according to police.

The robber is described as a male in his late teens, 6-feet tall with a medium build, according to police.
The victim was treated for his injury and released from the hospital, police said.
