Police: Calverton Man Charged With DWI in Riverside
The arrest was made on Sunday morning.
A Calverton man was arrested on a DWI charge in Riverside on Sunday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.
Alejandro Ruiz Cortez, 27, was seen driving southbound on Flanders Road at about 1 a.m. failing to maintain his lane of travel, police said.
He was stopped and found to be drunk, according to police.

He was arrested, transported to the Southampton Town Police Headquarters for processing, according to police.
Cortez was charged with DWI, moved from lane unsafely, operating without a license, and operating without an exhaust system, police said.

He was held for arraignment.
