Police: East Hampton Man Arrested on DWI Charge
Several witnesses called 911 after seeing the man driving in an erratic manner, police say.
An East Hampton man was arrested on a DWI charge in Flanders on Sunday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.
Edras Mendez Ventura, 21, was arrested at about 12:31 a.m. on Flanders Road, police said.
Several witnesses called 911 after seeing Ventura driving a 2000 Honda in an erratic manner, police said.

Police found that Ventura was drunk at the time of stop, according to police.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
