Police: Flanders Man Arrested on Drug Charges

The arrest was made on Friday.

A Flanders man was arrested on drug charges on Friday, according to Southampton Town Police.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s East End Drug Task force, in cooperation with the Southampton Town Police, executed a search warrant at 75 Glen Avenue in Flanders.

A short investigation was conducted after the local civic association expressed complaints regarding increased traffic in the neighborhood and at that home in particular.

As a result of the search warrant the Task Force recovered, scales, packaging material, quantities of marijuana and cash, according to police.

Robert Bale, 33, who was a resident of the home, was arrested at the scene and he is charged with: third degree criminal possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

He will be arraigned in Southampton Town Justice Court.
