Police: Flanders Man Arrested For Drug Possession

The incident occurred on Sunday morning.

A Flanders man was arrested for drug possession on Sunday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.

Bhavesh Hasarafally, 19, was stopped for a traffic infraction on Flanders Road near Bell Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. and found to have marijuana and ketamine, police said.

He was arrested and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to police.

Hasarafally was processed at police headquarters and was released on an appearance ticket for a future court date.
