Police: Flanders Man Burglarized a Riverhead Home

A second person involved in the burglary is still at large, police say.

A Flanders man was arrested following a burglary at a Riverhead home early Tuesday morning, according to Riverhead Town Police.

A resident at an East Second Street home reported that at least two people had entered his home, removed items and fled the area on foot at about 1 a.m., police said.

Responding patrol units found a man matching the description given by the resident, a short distance from the home, police said.

The man, Miguel Pacajoj, 39, was placed under arrest on a second degree burglary charge, transported to Riverhead Police Department for processing and held for arraignment purposes, police said.

The second person fled the area and still remains at large, according to police.
