Police: Flanders Woman Interviewed For Burglary, Arrested on Bench Warrant
After police interviewed the woman about a burglary in the area, they discovered she had an active warrant, police said.

Southampton Town Police arrested a Flanders woman after interviewing her about a burglary in the area early Christmas morning and discovering that she had a bench warrant for failing to pay a fine, police said.
At about 4:21 a.m. on Thursday, police interviewed Shawanna A. James, 42, on Old Quogue Road in Riverside about the burglary and upon further investigation, they discovered James had an active bench warrant from Southampton Town Justice court, police said.
James was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for a morning arraignment.
