Donovan added tht O'Dowd was found on the platform about 10:37 p.m. No train was involved in his death, Donovan said. MTA Police are investigating but said there does not appear to be foul play involved; the man apparently died of "natural causes," Donovan said.
The initial suspicion was that O'Dowd may have been hit by a train but after a train was inspected, "that appears to have been unfounded," Donovan said on the morning after he was found.
