Police Investigating Burglary at Wading River Subway Restaurant
Video surveillance appears to show a man breaking in and stealing cash from the restaurant, police say.
Riverhead Town Police are investigating a burglary at a Wading River Subway Restaurant that occurred on Wednesday night.
Police responded to the restaurant on 6302 Route 25A for a commercial alarm that went off at about 10:15 p.m.
Officers found that the front door of the restaurant was smashed in and it appeared someone had gained access within, police said.

The video surveillance appears to show that a man entered the premise and removed $150 from the cash register, police said.
He then fled the area in unknown direction.
