Police: Jamesport Man Charged With DWI in Aquebogue

A Jamesport man was arrested on a DWI charge in Aquebogue on Saturday, according to State Police.

Scott Cortez, 42, was stopped for traffic violations while traveling eastbound on State Route 25, east

of County Route 105 in Aquebogue, police said.

Investigation revealed Cortez to be intoxicated, according to police.

He was released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court on March 4.
