A Rocky Point man was arrested on a DWI charge after an accident in Riverside on Thursday night, according to Southampton Town Police.
John Apperson, 56, was driving on Lake Avenue when was involved in a car accident at about 9:34 p.m., police said.
He was found to be drunk and arrested, according to police..
