Police: Riverhead Man Charged With DWI

A Riverhead man was arrested for driving drunk in Mattituck on Wednesday evening, according to Southold Town Police.

Jose L. Cordoza-Menjivar, 27, was seen failing to maintain his lane of travel westbound on Sound Avenue by Route 48 and was stopped at about 6:30 p.m., police said.

Cordoza-Menjivar was found to be drunk and placed under arrest for DWI, according to police.

He was transported to headquarters, processed, and lodged to await arraignment.
