Police: Riverhead Man Arrested For Driving While Impaired By Drugs
The man was driving on the shoulder on Route 25 with no lights on, police said.
A Riverhead man was arrested for driving while impaired by drugs in Cutchogue on Thursday morning, according to Southold Town Police.
James Hlavaty, 37, was stopped on Route 25 shortly after 9:30 a.m.
He was driving his 2007 Volkswagon on the shoulder with no lights on, police said.

Hlavaty was found to be impaired by drugs, police said.
He was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for arraignment.
