Police: Riverhead Man Arrested For Drug Possession in Westhampton

State Police arrested a Riverhead man for unlawful possession of marijuana on Saturday in Westhampton.

The 27-year-old man was stopped for speeding while driving east on ST-27 west of exit 63 in Westhampton, police said.

Investigation revealed the man to possess marijuana, according to police.

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Southampton Town Court on Jan. 26.
