Police: Riverhead Man Arrested For Rape Of 13-Year-Old Girl
Police charged the Riverhead man with rape in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Southampton Town Police Detectives arrested a Riverhead man for a sexual offense involving a 13-year-old female known to him on Monday, Sept. 13.
The charges filed against Jose Quiran, 23, include rape in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was held overnight and brought to Southampton Justice Court the next morning where he was remanded to jail in lieu of $55,000 bail, according to police.
