Police: Riverhead Man Arrested For Robbing Flanders 7-Eleven

A Riverhead man was arrested for robbing a Flanders 7-Eleven on Tuesday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.

Police responded to a robbery at 7-Eleven on Flanders Road on Oct. 20 at about 12:30 a.m. where a robber demanded money from the store employee, police said.

Detectives were requested to respond and were able to identify Wesley Shedrick, 43, as the suspect, according to police.

Detectives found him on Wednesday and arrested him for the robbery, according to police.

Shedrick was charged with third degree robbery, police said.

He was processed and arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court.
