Police: Riverhead Man Shot On Maple Avenue
Deivi Perez was shot in Riverhead while walking home last week, police say.
Police are searching for a gunman who shot a Riverhead man last Friday.
Riverhead Police responded to a Maple Avenue on a report that a subject had been shot at 11:34 p.m.
Upon police arrival, Deivi Perez, 19, was found to have two gunshot wounds to his back.

Perez advised officers that two unknown men shot him as he was walking home on East Avenue near Maple Avenue.
Riverhead Town Volunteer Ambulance Corps and transported him to Central Suffolk Hospital. Perez was later transported to Stony Brook Hospital for surgery.
