Police: Riverhead Woman Arrested For Assaulting Homeless Man With Box Cutter
The incident took place in front of the railroad station on Tuesday.

A Riverhead woman was arrested for assaulting a homeless man with a box cutter in front of the local railroad station on Tuesday evening, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Police received a call of a disturbance at the bus stop on Railroad Avenue at about 5:19 p.m.
When police arrived, they found that an assault took place and found the victim at Railroad Avenue and Cedar Street, police said.

The victim, identified as Olimpio P. Colon, 44, told police that he was assaulted by a female who was found in front of the railroad station, police said.
The woman was identified as Sandra D. Moore, 45, according to police.

Colon told police that Moore had cut him with a box cutter on his hand, police said.
He had non-life threatening lacerations to his left hand and was transported to and treated at Peconic Bay Medical Center for his injuries, according to police.
The Riverhead Detective Division was notified and investigated the incident.
Moore was arrested for second degree assault, processed and held for morning arraignment at Riverhead Justice Court, according to police.
