Police Seeking Men Wanted in Connection to Riverhead Shooting
Two men shot a man and a woman in Riverhead earlier this month, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men wanted in connection with the shooting of two people in Riverhead earlier this month.
Riverhead Police responded to the corner of Grove Street and South Oakland Drive after a 911 caller reported two people had been shot at 10:30 p.m. on August 1, police said.
Police found an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, each with a gunshot wound to their arm, police said.

They were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
One man is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build and the other man is described as in his early 20s and 5 feet 10 tall, according to police.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
