Police Seeking Woman Who Burglarized Riverhead Ice Cream Store

The burglary occurred in June.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who burglarized a Riverhead ice cream store two months ago.

A woman broke into Snowflake Ice Cream Shoppe on 1152 West Main Street on June 23 at 11:25 p.m. and fled the store without any proceeds, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
