Police: Two Arrested For Selling Drugs in Wading River

The arrests were made on Saturday.

Two people were arrested for allegedly selling drugs in Wading River on Saturday, according to Riverhead Town Police.

The East End Drug Task Force assisted the Riverhead COPE Unit with a long term investigation of drug sales, specifically heroin, in the Wading River business district area, police said.

This investigation resulting in the arrest of Curtis Prussick, 31, and Amber Schatz, 27, both of Ridge, for third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, according to police.

Prussick and Schatz were both held overnight in Riverhead pending an arraignment in Riverhead Justice Court.
