Police: Two Men Arrested On Bench Warrants On Tuesday

Southampton Town Police made two arrests on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Benjamin Velasquez, 52, of Riverhead was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on a bench warrant for failure to pay a fine from Southampton Town Justice Court. He was taken into custody at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility.

Juan Cruz, 26, of Southampton was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court.

Both were held for arraignment.
