Police: Two Women Arrested For Stealing From Tanger Outlets Store

Two woman were arrested for stealing from a store at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead last Tuesday, State Police said Monday.

Riverhead Town Police reported a larceny at the Ralph Lauren store and a put out a be-on-the-lookout for the vehicle that left the scene, which was transmitted to local patrols, police said.

A state trooper saw the car driving southbound on Peconic Avenue in Riverside and conducted a traffic stop, police said.

The two people in the car, Tanya Lee O’Shaughnessy, 31, of Richmond, Va., and Dorcas O’Shaughnessy, 32, of Lindenhurst, were found to be connected with the theft and they were both arrested for fourth degree grand larceny, according to police

Both women were detained and turned over to the Town of Riverhead Police Department.
